For tenants

If you think you have bed bugs

Start here. None of it costs anything, and none of it needs a call.

  • Do first

Slow down. The fastest way to spread them is to move things around in a panic.

    • Don't spray or bomb anything

    • Don't throw out furniture yet

    • Bag laundry before you carry it

    • Tell your manager in writing

  • Then

Get a look, in writing, before anyone decides what to do.

    • Book an inspection

    • Keep the report

    • Give a copy to your manager

    • Ask what the lease says

Who pays

We write the report. We don't decide who pays.

Who pays depends on your lease and the city's rules, and we are not lawyers. What we can do is write the report so it is clear: which rooms, what the dog did, what we saw and what comes next.

You can hand it to your manager as it is.

  • Clear enough to forward

Plain words, one line per room.

  • Only to you

The report goes to the contact you name.
